On this two-day intensive hands-on course you will:

  • Better understand the constituent components and mechanisms of the epigenome
  • Get to grips with the very latest tools and technology for investigating the epigenome
  • Learn how to overcome common pitfalls in lab-based methods for studying epigenetics
  • Gain an appreciation of bioinformatics approaches for analysing epigenetic datasets
  • Be introduced to CRISPR mediated epigenome editing and its potential applications
  • Learn how to perform ChIP in the lab (practical session)

Who Is The Course Aimed At?

The course is aimed at junior group leaders, postdoctoral scientists, PhD students, experienced masters level students and senior research assistants from both academia and industry. Some experience of molecular biology and/or genetics is required.

International Networking

The course has built-in social and networking sessions with live music and drinks for attendees to meet and interact with professionals from academia and industry. In the late afternoon on each day we have our 'Tech Showcase' where delegates will be able to find out about the very latest equipment, tools and reagents for Epigenetics related research.
