Our Epigenomics Profiling Services couples the highest quality sample preparation and data expertise with industry leading turn around times.

We provide epigenome-wide analyses for understanding epigenetic mechanisms, epigenetics-related drug discovery, transgenerational epigenetics studies, epigenetic biomarker identification (including epigenomic cancer biomarkers), and functional epigenomics.

  • Epigenomics Services Manager

    For its Epigenetics division, under the supervision of the Business Unit Manager, Diagenode is looking for a passionate Epigenomics Services Manager (F/M) with strong customer orientation.

    Your mission

    To manage the scale up of our rapidly expanding epigenomic service platform.

    Key responsibilities

    • Manage and develop the human and technical resources necessary to meet customer requirements
    • Ensure personal development and evolution of each team member in order to best use their competencies and create a positive working atmosphere
    • Create and monitor KPl's in order to improve processes and increase profitability
    • Report to accounting project progress report on a quarterly basis (Revenue, Profitability, …)
    • Work in close collaboration with the Sales team (EU, US, ROW) to ensure efficiency of the services commercialization (project design, cost calculation, quoting and training needs)
    • Ensure optimal management of services projects (deadline, quality, reporting...)
    • Optimize operational tools and process
    • Work in close collaboration with the Marketing team to provide input at the level of strategic and operational marketing of services
    • Monitor and improve outsourcing providers and pricing
    • Maintain close contact with industry experts through client meetings, collaborations and industry events
    • Keep a close eye on trends and evolution of the life sciences sector with a particular focus on Epigenetics in order to reinforce our reputation as an expert in this field and to boost the epigenomic service platform

    Required qualifications

    • Master’s degree or higher in life Sciences, Genetics, Epigenetics or related field with minimum 5 years’ experience in managing a service lab
    • Understanding of the Life Sciences/CRO marketplace is an advantage
    • Ability to work in a fast growing, lean, entrepreneurial company
    • Experience in people management, relate to others in a team setting. Collaborative approach to developing and sharing strategy, tactics, and analytics with strong project management and influencing skills to work across multiple teams to achieve success
    • Self-starter, flexible, organized manager who displays energy, confidence, enthusiasm and a passion to develop epigenomics service
    • Experience in building strong collaborative relationships with other teams (R&D, Sales and Marketing, HR, Finance and Logistics)
    • Strong communication skills and fluent in English

  • Product Manager - Epigenetic

    For its Epigenetics division, under the supervision of the Global Marketing Manager, Diagenode is looking for a Product Manager

    Your mission

    • Contribute at the strategic level (researching customer needs and developing the portfolio) and at the tactical level (optimizing sales and marketing activities)
    • Driving go-to-market activities, competitive intelligence, messaging and development of our DNA Methylation and RNA-sequencing solutions
    • Accountable for orchestrating successful customer engagements throughout a product development life cycle

    Key responsibilities

    • Develop products and services portfolio roadmap & long-term vision focusing on strategic and financial attractiveness of growth opportunities to strengthen the DNA Methylation and non-coding RNA analysis products and services
    • Manage portfolio planning activities through various stages of the product life cycle. Implement strategic marketing plans to build and maximize revenues and profitability for the portfolio
    • Develop business plan, initial value proposition, go-to-market approach, marketing specifications, partnership opportunities for new solutions and enhancements to existing solutions in collaboration with cross-functional team:
      • R&D- guarantee key product development milestones to see products through conception, development and launch
      • Marketing Managers- drive creation, execution, and optimization of tactics and marketing collateral
      • Sales Managers- create and refine internal-facing messaging and to define promotional activities
      • Sales Enablement Managers- understand product and segment performance, adjusting strategy and tactics for accelerated growth
    • Gain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas. Ensure the voice of the customer is heard in all business directions
    • Conduct market and competitive research to become an expert on the target audience and specific buyer personas within that audience

    Required qualifications

    • Master’s degree or higher in Biological Sciences, Genetics, Epigenetics or related field
    • At least 5 years working experience as a Product Manager for a biotech/lifescience company
    • Experience defining product requirements, product launch and working with internal cross functional teams to ensure development of products based on customer requirements
    • Collaborative approach to developing and sharing strategy, tactics, and analytics with strong project management and influencing skills to work across multiple teams to achieve success
    • Demonstrated track record of revenue and profitability growth
    • Must have customer-facing experience
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, while simultaneously thinking creatively
    • Superior oral and written communication skills in English with an innate attention to details
    • Ability to travel approximately 20%

  • Business Partner HR (F/M)

    Your mission

    TThis newly created role offers a great opportunity to actively cooperate with the HR teamleader in a broad range of activities related to Human Resources, from business partnering to payroll administration. You actively contribute to the ongoing transformation of the HR function at Diagenode with the ultimate goal to develop a diverse and high-performing team.

    Key Responsabilities

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR solutions such as:
      • the hiring process (from job description to welcoming the new employees)
      • performance & annual review
      • training program : from business needs to implementation
      • talent management, …

      with an emphasis on clarity and simplification

    • • Contribute to the payroll administration of all employees in Belgium and Europe (social and fiscal regulations, compensation and benefits policies, fleet management, …)
    • Provide advice and assistance to all employees with regard to HR issues
    • Ease communication and information flow within the company

    Required qualifications

    • Bachelor or Master degree in Human Resources or equivalent
    • 3-5 years of proven experience in Business Partnering
    • Solid experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders, ability to strongly influence & challenge others and clearly present and discuss information in a way that establishes trust and relationships
    • You are an expert in finding and implementing HR solution
    • Knowledge of Belgian employment and labour law
    • Expertise in HR policies and procedures
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Sound judgement and problem-solving skills
    • Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
    • Knowledge of MS Office – IT minded
    • Languages : French – English (mandatory)
