This IP grade product is used for the precipitation of DNA after chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and after methylated DNA immunoprecipitation (Methyl DNA IP). It is included in our Transcription ChIP KIT (Cat. No. kch-redTBP-012), in our Histone ChIP KIT (Cat. No. kch-orgHIS-012) and in our Methylated DNA Immunoprecipitation KIT - MeDIP (Cat. No. mc-green-003). It is now separately available. Following IP and washes, the immunoprecipitated (IP’d) material is submitted to Phenol/Chloroform/Isomanyl alcohol (PCI) extraction. Then, to the aqueous phase obtained after PCI extraction of the IP’d material, our DNA precipitant is added with IP grade DNA co-precipitant (Cat. No. kch-216-100) and icecold 96% ethanol. For more details about these kits, see instruction manual.
ChIP-qPCR
Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP) coupled with quantitative PCR can be used to investigate protein-DNA interaction at known genomic binding sites. if sites are not known, qPCR primers can also be designed against potential regulatory region... Read more
