  • R&D Project Manager

    For its nascent Epigenetics Diagnostics division based within the Belgian headquarters, Diagenode is looking for a highly motivated R&D Project Manager (M/F).

    The Project Manager will have responsibility for the development of molecular clinical diagnostic kits taking advantage of epigenetics markers from conception to completion. Responsibilities include interacting with cross-functional teams from R&D, manufacturing, operations, quality, and regulatory affairs.

    Mission

    Key responsibilities

    • Plan and execute experiments designed to develop IVD molecular detection kits based on real time PCR amplification
    • Conduct in depth analysis of results and draw conclusions
    • Design, conduct and document results in accordance with Good Development Practice
    • Present and communicate results/findings in internal R&D meetings
    • Interface with manufacturing and operations to ensure manufacturability of reagents
    • Write technical reports and scientific publications/posters
    • Produce and maintain proper project documentation in accordance with internal and external requirements
    • Set up and conduct clinical studies

    Qualifications

    Educational background and key experience

    • PhD in molecular biology, chemistry or equivalent discipline
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in assay development/or project management within the in vitro diagnostic medical devices field. Preferably molecular diagnostics
    • Experience with ISO 13485, CE marked and FDA environment is an asset

  • Inside Sales Manager

    For its Epigenetics division and under the supervision of the Epigenetics Business Unit Manager, Diagenode is looking for a highly motivated, team-orientated Inside Sales Manager.

    Mission

    Key responsibilities

    • Maintain and develop the existing customer network in specific territories and product lines.
    • Work in close collaboration with the Sales Manager, the Account Managers, the technical support and Product Managers to identify and qualify news leads
    • Understand customers’ requirements and present adequate solutions
    • Generate sales to meet objectives, following up on leads resulting from marketing campaigns, conferences, or generated through cold-calls
    • Support the Sales team in the prospection and quoting when territories are vacant
    • Report customer profile information into the CRM
    • Work in close cooperation with the Sales Manager, the Marketing and the Tech Support to build a highly efficient process to increase our pipeline and capitalize on all sales opportunities

    Required qualifications

    • Minimum 5 years of industry experience, including 1-3 years of Inside Sales experience, Field Sales experience is a plus
    • Bachelor or Master in Life Science is preferred
    • Languages: fluent in French, English and Dutch. German is a plus
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong listening capacity, assertive, empathy and ability to build a rapport with lab scientists over the phone are essential

    • Excellent reporting skills (oral and written communication skills)

  • Key Account Manager (Germany + Benelux)

    For its Epigenetics division, Diagenode is looking for a highly motivated Key Account Manager (H/F), with experience in the epigenetics/ life science market, to expand our business in Germany and Benelux.

    Role

    Manage, develop, expand customer base and increase sales, across the territory.

    Key responsibilities

    • Deliver the sales targets for the territory
    • Schedule and attend customer visits to develop and grow regional sales
    • Develop customer/stakeholder/procurement /decision maker relationships by telephone, email and face-to-face visits
    • Target new opportunities and develop them for the company
    • Identify leads from trade shows, marketing campaigns, referrals, publications, etc
    • Manage territory sales and quotation pipeline
    • Elaborate sales plan and take actions to support their achievement
    • Track and report weekly progress of sales and key opportunities to the European Sales Manager
    • Keep the client database up to date
    • Attend tradeshows and manage exhibition booths
    • Identify, develop and manage key accounts for long-term sales growth
    • Work closely within the sales & marketing team to assist with targeted literature, product references & marketing campaigns
    • Continue to develop technical expertise learning from our R&D and technical support team

    Required qualifications

    • Life Sciences degree, research experience in genetics or epigenetics is a plus
    • Proven experience in a similar role
    • Organized, rigorous and independent with a spirit of initiative and acute business sense
    • Strong sense of responsibility and team spirit
    • Outstanding sales skills (negotiation, communication, …)
    • Experience with sales in the Biotech and Pharma is a plus
    • Proficient with standard computer-based tools
    • Proficient in German and English
