Webinar information
Join us for a webinar "A brief feedback from 500 ChIPmentation reactions in non-model organisms" on November 5, 2020 at 11AM EST to learn from Dr. Christoph Grunau, PhD, Professor at the Université de Perpignan Via Domitia.
The talk will focus on results obtained for the human parasitic flatworm Schistosoma mansoni, the tapeworm Echinococcus multilocularis, and the roundworm Meloidogyne incognita.
Dr. Grunau’s lab has performed over 500 automated ChIPmentation reactions on several non-model species using the Diagenode IP-Star. ChIPmentation reactions were performed with commercial antibodies against histone isoforms. Dr. Gruneau will show the general principles of ChIPmentation that are in our hands independent of the species, and what they have learned to need optimization depending on the biological model. He will also briefly outline the bioinformatics analysis of the results with a specific focus on aggregation of ChIP-Seq data obtained for different histone modifications.
