DNA co-precipitant

Description
This IP grade product is optimized to be used as carrier for DNA purification after chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and after methylated DNA immunoprecipitation (Methyl DNA IP). It is included in our Transcription ChIP KIT (cat# kch-redTBP-012), in our Histone ChIP KIT (cat# kch-orgHIS-012) and in our Methylated DNA Immunoprecipitation KIT-MeDIP kit (cat# mc-green-003). It is now separately available. Following IP and washes, the immunoprecipitated (IP’d) material is submitted to Phenol/Chloroform/Isomanyl alcohol (PCI) extraction. Then, to the aqueous phase obtained after PCI extraction of the IP’d DNA material, our DNA co-precipitant is added with IP grade DNA precipitant (cat# kch-217-001) and ice-cold 96% ethanol. Format
Supplied as a 2 μg/μl stock solution. 10 μg allow to precipitate IP’d DNA from a volume of 500 μl.

Storage
The product is stable for 1-2 years when stored at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
